So HB2 is the low beam bulb, but if you get a dual xenon bulb its an H4?

Btw, I'm a 96-98 Coupe, not a hatch. for what little or no difference that makes

No, the 9003/HB2/H4 are all dual beam bulbs, since your car did not come with two separate housing for 2 beams, which mean there's 2 bulbs in one bulb base, this it the model number for it, HB2 is just another code for the same bulb type.

There is no difference, I checked both the coupe and hatch and it's the same. Thanks!

YOu did not specify your color so i'm going to give you the link to the most popular color 6000K ( pure white) and 8000K (White with light blue tint)

You have two choices for the H4/9003 (H4=9003) (hi/lo and bi-xenon)
hi/lo means your low beam is HID and high beam is Halogen because this bulb type has two bulbs in one bulb base to go from low to high beam.
And the bi-xenon means both your low and high beams will be HID.
