sorry to hear. I know how you feel cause my car got stolen out of state and i was pissed as f*ck. Sadly when i saw it, it was in the police impound (junkyard) with nothing but the shell. Luckily for me I hadnt done a motor swap yet but still rims, interior, exhaust, stereo everything was gone. Hope someone just took it for a joy ride but then again, its a civic and its probably gonna be striped of its parts. Good luck on finding your car, and hopefully you have insurance cause i sure as hell didnt have insurance when my **** got stolen.

it really doesn't matter if you have a fuel cut off or not. either way....if a thief really wanted the car...they will HAVE/TAKE it. alarms with pagers and fuel cut offs aren't **** if the *** hole really knew what they were doin.

Location would be great, I'll def. keep an eye out as I have lost my EG a few months ago near LaSalle and Division.

Rev, I've been hoping so many times just to walk around and see my car or my rims thinking some stupid theif might be driving around with my stuff.. but never any luck. I have a feeling from the stories I've heard that the bastards in Chicago who steals are real professional. My car has yet to end up in the impound, I'm just waiting around till it's stripped or perhaps worse.

That sucks to hear man but its becoming a common thing in this city and everywhere near. My buddy had his Greddy turboed 97 ex stolen by LALOS Resturant on Clyborn and Webster about 2 weeks ago and still has yet to find it or the police and i had my EG hatch stolen and found it the morning it was stolen burnt to crisp . Hope you find yours man GL.

2-3 block North of Division On CLARK! I work @ BAR Chicago right down the street!

Ins. wasnt Full coverage, so thats no help!

I saw a Black Turbo 350Z drive past right after i parked, rims, wing, front mount, but still had the bumper grill. dont know that they had something to do with it, but the slowed down by my car when i was walking and i even said something to my buddy about it being wierd!

Fuel cut offs, no no, this is Chicago, they are using flatbeds and towtrucks in general. there was no broken glass or anything. It was stolen on a pretty bust street in the city!

If i find my shell i'll be happy to rebuild it... it was clean... it has a spot of bubbled rust on the pass side read 1/4, about the size of a 1/2 dollar. a black rattle canned hood, the rims i would know 100% if i saw them...

If anyone sees or knows anything please help me out!

Jesus man, I lived on Dearborn/Elm for 2 years before I moved to LP just a few weeks ago; so I know Bar Chicago and the area real well.

Did you get a look at the driver? Cause I too have a weird encounter: after I parked the car (I parked it around 1AM) I got out of the car and there was a black dude there well dressed and smoking a cig while looking at me as I got out/started walking away. I thought he was just looking at me since it's 1AM and there's really no one else around. As I reached the corner of the street to turn, I look back at my car as usual to remember exactly where it was and I see him staring at the car. I didn't think anything of it, and I still don't really... it was probably nothing.

I don't know.. all I know if I feel the same way I would love just to have it back, it too was clean. I've been calling the Chicago Central Impound every week for like 2-3 months with no luck.

Also, about the fuel-cut. I had one and it wasn't engaged. We're talking Gold-Coast where it's pretty busy and well lit in all hours of every night they'll take it one way another if they want it bad. I havn't gotten another car since because the only way in not getting your stuff jacked is not getting a car period.

I also have a feeling whoever/group is taking these cars in these areas (and it's not just us two, I've heard of a few others near us) probably is a HT member or check these boards. I came to this conclusion cause around Clark/Division there's a few regular ricer cars I see from time to time and they never get jacked. Only the cars that are possibly swapped with $$ goodies.

Anyways I'll keep an eye and you guys can maybe spot this (IS-300 gunmetal paint hatch no rust):

No i didnt get a good look @ the driver, but there was 2 people in it... I only noticed it cause it was a turbo 350z... i didnt notice anything about the ocupants or anything... just seemed a little wierd fr the area and the fact that they slowed down by my car... i mean i slow down and look @ cars sometimes, but it just seemd wierd...

I live just off the city, i have cameras i installed on my carport to keep my **** safe, but i couldnt protect it @ work!

Call the City Pound again... No Luck

sorry to hear it. my car (00si)was almost stolen twice when i was in the city then moved out to the city burbs. even though my alarm isn't all that hi-tech it saved me twice.( hide it good) by my old work by ogden & division stole my radio and removed lower column piece but couldn't turn off alarm so left. my apartment lincoln & irving. at like 3 am one night my car out front on lincoln, i hear a my alarm beep. look outside and see 2 guys one white one hispanic. i was on the 2nd floor watching them as they looked under my car. later found out they ripped out the wire for my horn thinking that they had dissabled the stock alarm, so any alarm can help. if you can be alerted. keep your hopes up, ill look out as well.

Not talking directly to anyone that posts here but like LOU_EM1 Said what if some of these faggits are on this site? I mean obviously They must know SOMETHING about hondas since they are stealing them and parting them out, i guess or doing whatever with them cuz they arnt around anymore

This is bothering me because i drive my **** to work Everyday and the neighbor hood around Mcormick Place isnt exaclty Safe at night, sometimes i work all night. Ever since reading about the first ones stolen a few months ago at the start of the summer its made me uneasy evertime i leave the car. It shouldnt be like that, We have to catch these ******* asap,

A Few months ago Didnt Someone Say That they have seen a green ford taures or sable around creepin slow and what not?
