Re: 94 EG Civic CX hatch d16, turbo, hondata For sale (TORQUE MONSTER)
I can vouch for this car. it is a TORQUE MONSTER!!! the powerband of the car is so big that it doesn't even seem that fast when you drive the car, until you overshoot your braking point.
engine was originally mine. i had it done by Justice Racing engines.
sold it to Torque Monster before ever putting it into my car.
engine block was painted with Por-15 high temp silver paint. the stuff is bulletproof and makes it much easier to clean the engine block off.
Also note the Oil pump has been ported and shimmed as per Endyne instructions.
i fabricated all the turbo piping and downpipe for this car. only parts used off the stock greddy setup are the turbo and the turbo manifold. all the rest is custom fabricated.
the system was setup to minimize all charge piping length to save weight and reduce any lag time. even has a custom cold air intake setup which exits into the driver fender well. the intercooler is actually offset to the passenger side for both weight balance and also to minimize the charge piping distances. (doesn't have to curve around bumper support, etc)
Jeff evans said a 3" downpipe and 3" exhaust and the car should dyno closer to 230whp with the same turbo.

Re: (TORQUE MONSTER)
Saw this car in person today and can honestly say it's one of the most well put together cars I've ever had the pleasure of driving. The suspension and handling are rediculous, the motor pulls hard from any RPM, no hiccups what-so-ever.
Whoever buys this car is getting a hell of deal...
I'll let you know how things go with the sale of my EK. Good luck with the sale of yours in the meantime...
