1994 Honda Civic Si - Race Car - $5000 obo
Up for sale is a 1994 Honda Civic Si Race Car. This started as a project of mine that I have put lots of time and money in. I raced this car at VIR for two seasons and have done a handful of autocross events. My plans were to finish the car this year by installing a full roll cage and racing seats. However, my interest have switched some an I am ready for something different. Here is a list of all of the mods and upgrades that have been done.
Engine: 1998 Integra B18C1 - little over 100k miles. Always run Mobil 1 Synthetic
Transmission: Stock 5 speed. Shifts very smooth with 0 grind in any gear
ECU: Hondata Ignition with launch control
Exhaust: Full racing setup with a 4-1 header with a 2 1/2 straight pipe (no muffler)
Intake: Short ram AEM with K&N Filter
Brakes: ABP Racing Fluid with Hawk Pads (Stock Rotors and Calipers)
Suspension: Skunk2 Racing Pro Series Coilovers
Lower Control Arms: Blox Racing
Strut Bars: Skunk2 Front and Rear
Tires and Wheels: Rota Grid 16" Black Wheels wrapped in Kuhmo Ecsta V710 215/60/16
The inside has been completely gutted with intention of installing a full SCCA cage. Never got around to this but I have all the internals that came out if you'd want to put it back together. With a little more money this car could be prepped to run any Honda class in SCCA or NASA. All that's left to do is install a cage, seat, and harness and you are ready to race.
I have had a lot of compliments on this car and have enjoyed every minute on the track with it. It isn't going to blow past and Corvette's down the straight but you'd be surprised how fast you catch them in the corners. Car handles like its on rails and revs to the moon. The VTEC in this car hits hard and loves to be revved. My instructor at VIR told me that this was one of the fastest N/A Hondas he has ever been in. You will not be disappointed with the performance of this little beast.
The chassis is in excellent shape to be a 21 year old car. It does not has power steering (which I prefer for racing). Feel free to contact me with any other questions. I am sure I have left something out of this ad. I am somewhat flexible with the price but I know what I have in this car so do not low ball me. Lot of time and handwork went in to this car. It can easily be converted back into a street car if needed.
