    Hey Stephen Schmidt,

Ahh yes, x7 or x8 delima. First go around was x7, and most of the world agrees that is all you need for a 205 and helps save a bit of weight. Second time around I ran x8 and ended up running 10mm hubcentric front spacers on extended studs and 5mm hubcentric spacers on the rear with extended studs. The lookd of the RE71R in 205 on the x8 6UL was perfect. The fitment on that car was one of my favorite things about it. I rolled the front fender tabs and tucked the fender liner behind the rolled tabs and gave the fender a slight pull, by hand, to make it all fit perfect. The rear just needed a slight roll just for good measure. Keep in mind, 6ULs x8 in the rear will require some trimming of the OEM "camber arm" in order to make it fit. When you bolt up the wheel, you will see exactly what is needed. Hope that helps!

    Thanks for stopping by,
    Tom

    Hey,

I've been following your old Civic EX build thread and I noticed that you ran both the 15x7 6UL's and the 15x8's both with 205/50r15's.

I have a 1999 Civic SI and I keep tossing and turning about which size to get. I'll also be running a 205/50r15 tire.

Any rubbing with either? Any fender work? I'm assuming you ran both without spacers or anything else? What was the offset of the 15x7?

    I'd REALLY appreciate your help!

    Thanks so much!

    Regards, Stephen
