- First Honda was a 91 hatch no letters on car, that my parents bought. My first accident too. Ran it into someone's rear. After that the car always over heaated, mechanics cound't figure it out. After 175K miles in 2003 I decided to trade it in on a 98 LX 4dr auto with A/C as it gets a little hot in the summer in MO. I figured I would learn all I can about Honda's and make this car my pride and joy. Seeing how my 91 hatch could take off the line a lot faster than my wife's 99 Cougar, I figured that these little cars packed a serious punch, even with only 90 something HP.
So, I am on the long quest of building a nice ride that looks good, performs really well, and has a great sound system. This is not going to be a race car, but an every day driver that I would like to have a lot of punch and power when I need it.
