Hi all,

Just thought ill take a few minutes and say hi to everyone on this forum. Well im Richard and from Sydney Australia and I have just recently purchased myself a Honda CRX ( del sol) 1997 model. Great little car I wish I bought one a lot earlier but yeah what can you do. Anyways just got a quick questions to start off with.

With my targa roof when I go to lock the handles in place, one feels abit tighter than the other to lock in if that makes sense? so one turns real easy like theres not enough pressure to lock the targa in and the another side is nice and firm and you can tell the targa locked in smoothly. Anyways is there anyway to tighten or adjust the locks on the targa or maybe the mounts? All my seals are great no leeks or worn out rubber.... Hmm any ideas anyone?

I hope someone with a Del Sol will chime in and point you in the right direction regarding your Targa Roof.

when you put the roof on, after you latch one side, go to the other side of the car and grab the roof and firmly move it side to side and the 2nd latch will lock with ease.

also parking on very flat land/road will make putting the roof back in much easier.. del sol's have very little rigidity when the roof is removed, which in turn, when you are parked on UNEVEN concrete/land/street it makes putting the roof on difficult and sometime impossible. When i owned my 95 del sol i never took the roof off because of that.
