wire both o2 sensors together and trick ecu???
would this actually work?
i have a dx civic and i used the dx wiring harness on my b20z swap. i can only plug in one of my o2 sensors to the exhaust system i have so what would happen if i just wired the second o2 sensor to the first so it can send the same signal to the ecu??
i'm sure somebody has tried this before....any comments are welcome

Re: wire both o2 sensors together and trick ecu??? (b20ek)
stock Si header and dx exhaust. the dx exhaust is essentially a small diametier straight pipe because the cat was on the header.
thanks for the response

no i don't think it will work..
if i remember right, the ECU looks for something different from the second o2. the cat is "lit" off and the ECU can see the diff, from running cold to running hot. for better fuel economy.

Re: wire both o2 sensors together and trick ecu??? (cccya)
it wouldnt be a good idea to splice both o2 sensors together.. ecu was designed to read two seperate varying voltages. thats what i did, and now the car burns gas like crazy. i get only 10 miles per gallon. im redoing the harness and getting an obd1 pigtail. hopefully that will eliminate a few bugs. good luck though.
