Car Puffing blue smoke... help me out please
Alright I just did my swap about 2 months ago and now my car is puffing blue smoke. It's not blowing smoke while I'm hard on the throttle all the time but if i get on the throttle and then get of the gas and let it surge down to aroung 4K and then get back on it again it will let out a puff of blue smoke. Thats the only time it will do this. It also does it between hard shifting. What does it sound like to you guys? Valve seals? Rings? Bad PCV valve maybe? Help me out here Thanks

i may just be blowing smoke out my *** but it kinda sounds like maybe bad rings (blue moke = oil) why it puffs out when you step on it again i dont know maybe the crankcase is building up pressure and when you step on it again the oil squeezes out through the valves or something like that.

Re: Car Puffing blue smoke...
I have a problem similar to this, mine is white smoke though. Have a compression and leak down test done. That's about the easiest way to tell what is going on. For me it turned out that it was just the tip in gas at high rpm that was too high. For you, I'm with the thought of the rest of the guys.
