In the name of all out custom fab, sacrifices are going to be made for sure. Pedals can be massaged to the left a bit for sure. If he uses a kirkey or w/e race seat, he can mount that inline with the new pedal placement should he need to. You have to be open minded, have LOTS OF time and patience, and have hella Creative fab skills with projects like this!!! Did i mention A LOT of time and patience? hah. I have made countless sacrifices w/ my "Lsx7" during the build BUT. Driving such a wild looking and semi rare car with a ls1 on a lumpy cam lighting up the tires in almost every gear makes it ALL worth it! Did i mention they go high 11s with a BONE *** STOCK Ls1??? Power to weight ratio is my friend.
PLus, after all, how many people ANYWHERE in the world can say they have a Ls1 powered RWD HONDA prelude?? Let alone say IM the one that BUILT IT! Go custom, stand out from the rest, and RUN THE MF-IN SHOW!!! haha sucks tho, theres prolly 20-30 ls1/FD's out there picking on unsuspecting cars/bikes... FD's reguardless of the powerplant are a rare car to see on the road, (especially RUNNING with the rotardly engine) seen like maybe 3 this year on the road.
Good luck on the rest of the build, I demand WHEELS UP PICS when you go to the track!!! It will blow A LOT of people's minds seeing a prelude yankin the front wheels!! HAHAHA i love it. il have to post some pics of my FD after i redo the exterior, its rather haggard looking right now from sitting on jackstands for 3yrs, hahaha. remember children (chef from south parks voice) Function over fashion...
Then maybe make it look nice after it runs the numbers, for the ladies of course.

Now, the guys that are designing the Ls1 into miata kits are just ASKING for a death wish, lamo. 2100lbs w/o driver i think they said. Screw that, such a small car on a small wheelbase, no weight, and ALL that motor, hahaha. Totally outa control!

Re: (preluderacecar)
sweet, I love updates ahah. This is seriously amazing, I have always thought the Prelude shoulda been a rwd car. never thought a ls1 would fit tho, and it looks like theres a fair amount of room. if you dont mind me asking what are you going to Japan for? I've always been stuck in North America for vacations. Japan would be killer. you should bring some USDM things to sell to them, I've Heard its almost as popular as JDM here. Kind of ironic. keep up the good shitt!
