Re: (JDM k0rupt)
The engine placement was decided through an educated guess basically, hehe. Actually we wanted it as far back as we could, basically even with the front of the shock towers. After placing it there though we found out it pretty much compromised alot of the interior space, so thus, we decided as far back without going past the orignial firewall.
The weight was right around 2500ish when Racecity USA (dave) drove over in his Mid engine integra and kindly let me use his scales to weigh the car.

Re: (Rocket Man)
I haven't really done much but mock up the radiator. The garage this past week has really gone a major overhaul, and I'm no where near done cleaning it. So much to do inbetween work, and school and prepping the nissian on the side. I was hoping cleaning the garage up would help me find the missing fitting for the fuel syst, but I never did. Which leads me to believe it was never missing, I just thought I had another one. So I finally broke down and bought one. The garage is a major mess since I took the chevelle out, I wish it was as clean as some shops I've seen and such. It is a garage though, not a shop and it is literally packed full.
Hopefully when the fititng gets here I'll start working on getting it running.
Later on,
shawn

a messy garage is what happens when you have a full plate i have the same problem sadly the only way to run a tight ship is live in your garage or keep the projects to a minimum but ... it is satisfying to clean a totally fucked garage and find missing things or just to admire your work i find hanging an extra light or seal a drafty crack can make ones love for the garage increase

In for the car running.
350 sticking out of a prelude hood will look gangsta as hell on the street.
Some guy in his corvette will be like "WTF mate!"
Seriously, you should do some serious Honda badging.
Edit: Oh, and like 23" wide rear wheels.

I recently cleaned my garage after my build, and found a bum sleeping in the corner! I know what you mean though.
Love what you've done, shows lots of dedication & skill. I also think a v8 pushing out the hood would look sick. I think it was a LS1'd 350z I saw recently, they had the hood modified to have the v8's TB barely sticking out of the hood, middle of a scoop.

I would update, but I have nothing. Engine in civic is toast, have to buy another one and hopefully get it swapped out this week.

Still have the H22? If so use that . Probably more trouble than it's worth though.
Like the last 1000 people I give you mad props! I read everything from page one. F-ing spot-on. I agree with keeping it looking as sleeper as possible.
I assume you found a way to have power steering? Or are you going w/o? My Nova has no power steering, it sucks.

I find comfort in the fact that I'm not the only guy who really feels comfortable and likes hangin out in his garage even if I'm by myself... hell, half of my myspace pics were taken in the garage haha.
This is such a cool project and I'm anxious to see which direction/style you take it ie: sleeper/jdm drifter/muscle car/etc. etc.
I vote for a giant rear window decal that says "Honda POWA!!"

Re: (Bull_head360)
so i understand the engine placement now, but how did you find out what drive shaft to use? did you measure it and use one off another stock gm? or is it custom?

That wouldn't really be very truthful, now would it?.....of course, it would be sacrilige to put a sticker on the back that says "Chevy POWA!!".
My vote is to keep it clean, no decals, nothing too fancy. Just a nice, clean paint job, and I love the rims you've got on there now, keep those. That would make the car look very tasteful, and you are sure to be in every import magazine, (and muscle car magazine for that matter) out there. Keep up the awesome work man. This is one of my top favorite threads ever. How about some more updated pics???!!!

Re: (ChrisRicketts)
I am at a bad time in life right now. I'm not even sure if I am going to be able to keep the car at this time. It really sucks.
