Judging by the car in your sig you can drive. Temps, humidity, elevation all play huge roles, as well as the track prep. We typically run at RockFalls and that place is crappy! We had to reset out 2 steps when at a better track.
I see STI's run 15s and in that case its driver error or they are babying the car.

went to track again .... car went consistant 14.56's @ 96.50 with 2.25 60' ... i gotta find a way to pull a 2.0 and i think the car would do low low 14's

get a clutch and diff you aren't affraid to launch on and you will pull 2.0s, you are probably not launching as hard as you could because in the back of your mind you are thinking this **** is going to break.

Re: (envee)
so... I've heard conflicting advice as far as launching on the stock diff setup.
Obviously we know that launching 'hard' can and will break the stock diff without solid reinforcement;
However, several people both on the boards and IRL have told me that with street tires on the drag strip here I could launch at 7-8k and be fine because the tires won't hook well enough to really hammer the diff.
Other people have said that if you dump the clutch at all above 4k you are very likely to split the pumpkin right open regardless of where you're launching/ with what tires.
Input?
Either way I'm gonna give that Puddymod thing a try and see if it can hold.
