Saw another one today. My opinion still stands--they look horrible. I think the new TSX will be a much better choice. Supposed rumors of K24-T got me all excited...

Ok, Mr. Nitpick. Since we're getting down to the nitty-gritty, it's a 2.2995L turbo engine.

I agree that the Accord is a great car for the money.

You're kidding right? That disposable, yet you couldn't afford a dying beater that isn't in too bad of shape?

...and regarding the new Accord, I saw an AMBER ALERT yesterday: Hyundai wants their design engineers back

who said anything about not affording a beater? Fella i make close to 150k a year. I just didnt feel like buying another beater or fixing the other up, i just grew out of my s2k. I dont need a 40k car to cruise around in so i opted for an accord.

and regarding the amber alert.....you fail....

Over $12k a month, eh? And you're in an Accord? You must have a large house, or a real bad drug habit.

Oh I've seen plenty of examples of that as well...I've also seen the opposite where people extremely over-extend themselves with exotic vehicles and don't make anywhere near enough to afford it adequately. I would need to have a sports car of some sort to accompany a more-mild daily driver. The OP couldn't have been too hot on the S2000 to walk away from it and the depreciation of it being new.
