Ultimate Racing S2000 Turbo Kit RE-TUNED and DYNO'D!
Hey guys,
Just wanted to keep you guys up-to-date like I promised. We just got back from the dyno and have re-tuned the S2000 Turbo Kit. Might I add we're very impressed. The kit pulled:
294 rwhp and 196.8 ft/lbs of torque still at 7psi!
We will have a the dyno chart scanned and up on our website by tonight. And for those of you that need to see first hand proof...we have it all on video!! How many companies offer you that! The video will also be up on the internet as soon as I can figure out how post it!
So stay tuned! www.ultimate-racing.com
Thanks guys!
Darryl

What A/R ration on the turbo?
What size is the intercooler or does it even have one?
Maybe I missed the original thread, sounds interesting, tell me more.

very nic enumbers especially at 7psi. Know how much the s2k can take on stock internals? but yes tell us more!! price? when is coming out? intercooler? whats the max output of the turbo?

Same Q? Sorry I don't understand the question?
A/R is something we cannot publicize sorry.
The intercooler core dimensions are 20"w x 7.8"h x 3.5"t
Mugen_Power
The turbo sits in front of the engine as seen in this picture:
Here is the dyno chart I promised you guys...sorry about the sizing!
Lastly, here is our video of the dyno run. It was performed at Pro-tech in Brampton, Canada. For whatever reason our High resolution video doesn't always want to work, so I've linked the Low resolution version. Enjoy!

Tell me this at least, will you have different A/R ratios available for somone who wants to trade some lag for top end or sacrifice top end for a quicker sppol-up time?

Are you looking for more top end or low end? We really don't suggest more top end as we're still pushing all this power on a stock motor. More power means more reliability issues. We believe that we've got the best of both worlds in our kit. Great low end as well as a an impressive top end.
If you look at the supercharger kits out there, they seem to only concentrate on top end and peak HP numbers. That really isn't our goal. This kit is designed to suit the needs of all types of drivers. Of course, if you want even more...we can custom build you a motor/turbo setup that would blow your doors off

Sorry to say, but 294 whp out of a car that has 240 f/w hp isn't that impressive. Most gs-r with drag and rev hard kits make around 260-275 whp on stock internals.

How is that not impressive? S2000s dyno anywhere from 190-210 whp stock and plus its running only on 7lbs of boost

I'd much rather have an 'unimpressive' 294whp to the correct wheels and just about anything to the front.....

do a little research and you'll find out how much a stock s2k puts down to the wheels, then do some more research on what the competition is putting down to the wheels and then you can say what is impressive and what is not.

yep, it's very impressive...
35k$ for the car+4-5k for a turbo kit to get 294rwhp.

it's also safe to run 7psi on 11:1 compression, why not run more? say around 5 million psi? the car should make some impressive power on a bone stock motor running high compression as it already is.

240 f/whp my a$$. u probably dont even drive a s2000. most dyno'ed at 180-200
stock. boosting 7psi and add almost 100hp at the wheels is very impressive.
i hope you know what you're doing to your "soon to be boosted b18b non-vtec
motor"

Re: Ultimate Racing S2000 Turbo Kit RE-TUNED and DYNO'D! (S2Geezy)
s2geezy, I think he meant flywheel horspower, not front-wheel.
Regardless, brryder, while you can take an integra, boost it and put down 250-270 to the wheels, you still have an integra/civic/whatever. With this kit, you take a wonderful car and boost the power to levels that are still within reach of what the chassis can handle (hopefully people would upgrade the rest of the car, however it is not a necessity as it is with a high powered economy car). We're talking about an S2000 here. This is a car that people buy for many reasons, few of which have anything to do with what they can do with it modifications-wise. They're taking a very beautiful car that is very enjoyable to drive, gets a lot of attention, that doesn't get stolen everytime you turn around, is (fairly) rare, and can still whoop the **** out of any other Honda (outside of the NSX) on a road course (the car's not made for the drag strip) that's not a full out race car.
Before you think I'm ripping on you, I drive a del sol so don't get pissed off that I called your Integra an "economy" car. That's simply a fact, whether it's sport or not. I can build my car up to around 250 wheel horspower fairly easy. It's lighter than an S2000 so I MIGHT have a CHANCE at beating one on the strip (I'll igore the difference in launching a 250 whp fwd car vs. a 290 whp rwd car) but I'd get my *** handed to me on a road course without some serious $$ put into the suspension, brakes, body, and chassis.
So please, don't post about this not being a great improvement. If you just want power, skip the B18B, sell your integra, buy an 87 CRX, strip it and drop a boosted H22 in it. And hey, if you think you can do better on stock internals on a car that runs a sky-high compression ratio and that is probably one of the MOST fully tuned engines from the factory, I think everyone here would be very interested in it. Give these guys some low compression pistons and let them fortify the block some and I'm sure they can give you more than a sad, measly, unimpressive 100whp. Until then, I think me and most other S2000 enthusiasts who know what has been and can be accomplished with the car will be impressed.

[quote]This kid has a freaking Base Integra and does not even have turbo so I don't know what he's bragging about Integras putting down whatever. He's probably just a stunna wannabe who will never buy turbo for his car though he claims he's "soon to be boosted". His car probably puts down like 100whp and he claims 300hp is not impressive though that's 3X what he's got. whatever sucka! Go back to your rice hole.[quote]

Now go install your cute little turbo and dyno on your non-vtec b18b (stock internals) and pass 294hp at the wheels boosting only 7psi, then i'll be
impressed. HAHA...
