Re: Teaser Pics (corners2fast4u)
Just a couple of manifold in progress pics (2" primaries for big flow )
Waiting on the big gt42r to come in now, lets hope it fits under the hood lol
If you really think I copied it fine but I didnt copy anything, I built the best manifold that I could in the space I had to work with maybe great minds think alike?

It is impossible to have a 100% original idea. That manifold is pure sex compared to anything else out there...
And why does it really matter anyway?
gt42r... wow!

Re: (JG-Fabrications)
That is as far as I am going to get this weekend, have alot of customer work to get done over the week (1 rb26 manifold, 1 d ac ramhorn, 1 b non ac ramhorn, 3 d ac logs, 1 s2k turbo kit) that all have to get done and ship
Next week this manifold will be welded up all the way and be getting polished for the gold treatment again
This manifold specs:
304 16 gauge 2" tubing 3" center line radius
counter clockwise sequential design
primary lengths:
primary 1 - 12"
primary 2 - 12"
primary 3 - 19"
primary 4 - 19"

Re: (JG-Fabrications)
That's the first time i've seen someone put a v band right off of the collector before even getting to the turbo or WG flange. Interesting. Care to elaborate why you did this?
Secondly, what is this about you shipping out an s2k turbo kit?
*waits patiently on turbo kit news*

Actually the turbo kit is for a local guy lol the other stuff all has to ship this week*
The reason I vband the manifold:
It takes 12 hours to build the manifold and, keep it perfect, polish it out, port, etc
I am notorious for changing stuff all the time (gt42r for now but you never know what is 2 months down the road for me possibly t6 gt47r )
and it only takes 2 hours to do the elbow for the turbo with wg also it allows for some error in the manifold by it not being welded I can pivot it wherever it needs to go to fit the big turbo
Lastly it makes install 100000x easier just bolt manifold on tight, put turbo on eblow tight, vband keep it tight enough you can pivot into place, pop in braces tighten vband kaboom installed lol

Re: (JG-Fabrications)
That's what I figured, you made it like that so that if you decide to change things, say turbo placement or wg placement, you only had to fab up a new elbow instead of a new manifold. Now i never thought it was because of the possibility of a T6 gt47r. Keep up the awesome work. Any chances of pics of the S2k setup you are doing?

Re: Teaser Pics (eggman92)
for those who requested pics of the s2k kit I am working on for local customer here is a few of the manifold (still needs wastegate put on it) everything will be done this weekend on it so the real pics will be up then
As to fitment, it will fit 100% like factory (will even have a 3" downpipe that bolts on to factory exhaust/cat ), this is not a for sale post, if you want to know any more info instant message me
Ac lines will have to be bent, and fuse box will have to be twisted 90 degrees but after that it is a bolt on (we are working with a company on getting custom cnc mandrel bent charge pipes made up)
This manifold was built in as a sequential manifold (fires in a circular pattern with the engine's firing order 1-3-4-2)

Re: Teaser Pics (FR-MOB: Projekt)
Just started on the intake manifold today
The plenum will be done just like the intercooler endtanks with a huge 4.5" 1 d 90 degree bend
Throttlebody of choice is accufab 105mm
This intake manifold is tuned to make peak power at 10000rpm on the 2.0 liter engine

Re: Teaser Pics (JG-Fabrications)
yes it clears the brake booster and cyld by 1/2" very close lol
I might run into hood clearance issues if that happens I will get a good ole school cowl scoop on there
All sensors are going underneath the plenum so you wont see them
Still have to make the water elbo and the filler neck will be on it as with plenum water sensors go underneath

Re: (tegsallgood)
No tuba playing snails yet but here are pics of the brake booster installed to show it fits
I am in a toss of up 2 turbos right now
going with the new turbonetics gt-k 1000
or gt4294r
the 1000 should have the same spool up of the smaller 42r but will put out 1000hp not be limited ot 850
The 10 point cage should be finished up next weekend and I will re-install the dash and the top. I will also get the radiator and intercooler mounted next weekend

Re: (JG-Fab.com)
Things are undergoing some big transformations from how they are here so get ready for some cool new stuff
Here are a couple of teasers to show off the new big tires on the modified stock wheels
As you can see things are super tight but they do fit (we are going to make a 10mm spacer just for safety sake though)
To give an idea these tires are 26" tall 10" wide tread width
You just gotta love big tires on little cars hehe

Re: (JG-Fab.com)
what happened to the welds? also who did the modified stock wheels? seem kinda scary with the amount of power you plan on making...good luck
