Is it safe to Run Axle Spacers?
Just bought an 01 S2000. Previous owner had it slammed with axle spacers. I plan on putting back the stock springs but want to leave the spacers. Is it safe to run spacers on stock suspension?

Depending on how many miles the car was driven with it lowered, you may get a vibration on acceleration if you leave them in.
If you go back to stock height and you get the vibration, just remove the spacers and you should be good.

Re: Is it safe to Run Axle Spacers?
Thanks all for the advice. I've put it back to stock with spacers on and so far no vibrations. Couldnt leave it slammed cause my driveway is too steep. Had to go get a couple of 2x10s to use as ramps. Will get coilovers in the future and drop it 0.75-1in (that's all i can afford) instead of the 2in+ drop from before. Stock sucks! I can put four fingers in the wheel well!

That doesn't make sense...
The distance from flange to flange is the same on the ap1 & ap2 diff...and the axles are the same part number for both. If the hub were spaced 5mm out, the axle nut wouldn't have enough threads on the spline to grab.

Hey Speedy...
Strange...cuz it was Billman that did all the measuring when we were trying to figure out if the spacers did anything for an s2k.
You can prove it to yourself on the axles though...look em up...same Honda part number means same exact part.
