Does the big throttle body actually help out even without other mods?

I think the BIGGEST problem that the OP will have with an AP2 is that it will be like the gay pride parade every time he drives. Homos will swoon. Honda added some male pherimones into the AP2's chassis rails. Get ready for some guy you dont know to grab YOUR chassis rail.

If you are getting a AP2, you will probably want to remove the Clutch Delay Valve. I would get a 04-05 if your planning on modifying the motor, only b/c 06-07, there aren't a lot of aftermarket options for the DBW.

You guys are really childish, he asked a specific question, and your rambling on about AP2 is better than a AP1 b/c... Grow up, were all the same side. If you want to be E-Thugs, go post on the Mustang forums and have a blast.

It does add quite a bit of room under the mid-range and top end torque curve. 4-5lb/ft to me qualifies as "quite a bit" on this car.

im messin, I love my ap1 and if i had a ap2, id love it as well i think

ther are + and - to each one, you choose!
