Default Optional equipment that we can't get here in the States....

I know I'd like to see ALL that is available for the other countries to get for this car, as well as some things that we have here in the States that may no be so popular or easy to come by.

So, in search of finding such stuff, I have come across a few things and decided to share. If you have any picture of accessories that we don't have here in the U.S., please share! And feel free to discuss!

I'll start with my personal favorite. This trunk organizer is pretty sweet if you ask me! I have asked a couple US Honda dealers, and so far no one can get me one.

I'm not sure if these fog lights are an optional accessory or not. But they look good, as well as the clear turn signals in the headlamps.

These...well, I haven't figured out for sure what they are yet. Does anyone have a confirmed answer?

These are the JDM wheels made by BBS. Hot stuff! and Lightweight!

If you look at the bottom of the rear bumper, you can see the rear foglight. Nothing special really, but, just thought I'd show the placement of it on the S2k.

Anyone know if these are factory or aftermarket wheels?

And lastly, for now anyways, I saw this pic and thought, HEY! The antenna is on the wrong side of the car!

Wanted to add one more note....on the following picture, you can notice that some countries get the word "honda" above S2000 on the fender.

the trunk organizer thing is something you can buy from MUZ. Do a search on s2k.com for Muz or trunk organizer.

The fog lights could be from a Honda Odyssey or Rick's might be doing something also that does something like the pic. Once again, s2ki has a few more posts about it

The headlight things are washers for European countries

The JDM wheels are light, if I recall 13 or so lbs. Unfortunately, you can buy these used in the US, but since these can be used in scca stock classes, demand and prices are high

and the wheels on the orange s2k looks like OZ, but someone else with better knowledge can chime in on that one

OZ Superleggara wheels to be exact.

The rest... you already took care of.

You guys hit on most everything.

The rear red light on the bumper is a rear fog light. It's standard in europe as are the front headlight washers.

The white headlight diffusors are a non-US thing. You can buy copies of these from http://www.ricks2k.com and do the install yourself. It involves baking the headlights but is not that difficult.

What's the reason for requiring the headlight washers?

The washers are hideous. But I really like the fogs. I wonder if they mount the switch in the other "pre cut" cruise control button.

The headlight washers are a law in Europe I think, as are the rear fog light. I would like to get one of those for my S. (rear fog) If anyone knows where to get it, let me know.

those foglights are custom HID ones, that is a EVOLUTION autosports car(jeff with the gold te37's)

rick's has a post on s2ki that lets you incorporate the odyssey fogs in the s2k's faux ducts

Me too. I would like to get a Modulo exhuast, and maybe even some suspension. No one here wants to get the stuff though. Probably because of cost I'm guessing. For the money, there are many aftermarket alternatives. Still, it's nice gear.
