thanks for the comments good and bad!

I built the car for myself so as long as I like it that's all I care but I realize not all mods are for everyone. Personally I think those crazy body kits are kinda tacky but I enjoy seeing all types of cars....

Doing some more engine work before it goes on the Dyno but here's a fun picture we took the other day. We were shocked to find how fat the Lexus looks parked next to the s2000. It's not only wider, longer but also much taller even though it's slammed lower!

Ever think of painting the wheels white with a yellow lip?

Just passing 1 year of ownership on my latest s2000, I’m happy to report the car is nearing what I would consider a happy medium in terms of mixing looks, power and sound in the ultimate s2000 package! Too many “show” cars are built with one thing in mind but rarely do you get all 3 areas addressed and I think I’ve done that pretty well in this car.

A few of the most unique attributes in this car are:

a) Custom Recaro Pole Positions stitched in ultra-suede with yellow inserts and HEATED seat pads
b) State of the art stereo system that houses (x3) JL Audio 6W3 woofers that sounds amazing teamed with Focal K2P Powers
c) Lightweight and rare NSX OEM Wheels
d) CR exterior but retains the benefits of a soft top
e) 380+ RWHP thanks to SOS Supercharger + Flashpro Setup
f) 2009 absolute last year Honda in most desirable color!

Of course as with any project car there are still things that need to be addressed such as the OEM clutch which is the weakest link right now slipping a bit even with only 12k miles on her. I was going to pick up a Black OEM Hardtop for the more aggressive CR look but after seeing a local guy with a GPW hardtop it’s hard to argue it looks much cleaner so I went that route. I’m a true top-down guy but I have to admit the car looks better with the hardtop on the car!

I have one more exterior mod planned and the car should be pretty satisfactory for me (my checkbook will be happy). Up to this point I’m pretty sure we have over $70k+ invested in this car but it’s worth every penny. Few s2000’s out there can claim this package and I think I’ve built something that is both unique and powerful for my ultimate s2000 build. It’s not the fastest or the most crazy looking but overall I think this is the s2000 most people would like to own in their own garage.

I snapped a few pictures that shows the latest engine work, custom high power LED fogs, and of course my trademark LED headlights!

Enjoy,
Rick

Love this view:

Engine bay is color matched to keep the white/yellow scheme going:

Close-up of the HKS filter – the whine from the charger is intoxicating at WOT:

My custom ver.E smoked Tails and badging: (note my custom diffuser poking out below)

Not a big fan of the white/yellow theme aside from the interior. But love the GPW

Job well done! Love the attention to detail. I wouldn't do the LED lights but it is a bit different so they're ok. Awaiting the dyno results.

Thank you for the kind words, I take great pride in creating the ULTIMATE s2000 that has everything! I know it's not for everyone but that's ok

All the LED lights are triggered by switches so when not turned on, no one ever notices them as it lays dormant. But sure does attract a lot of attention when on during car shows and other events which is why we build this car in the first place as a demo vehicle.

In case some of you wondering, I got my white/yellow inspiration from my other car and it's stuck ever since. I just wish I can get yellow seat belts made for the s2000

Looks like the rear is lower than the front...

Also have to agree with everyone else, the yellow in the engine bay is a bit tacky.

^The yellow is very subtle and used in small amounts in the engine bay - I love the Spoon valve cover! The yellow Samco hoses serve a purpose too

Everything on my car is tied into a theme so nothing is over-done (IMO anyways)

Because the trunklid was an OEM CR trunklid I bought off another member and didn't have time to remove it.

That picture is old, no longer has the CR badge

how it looks now:

Running 10 lbs of boost right now with the larger injectors but have to re-tune the FlashPro now that the ACT clutch has been installed. We were not making full boost due to the factory clutch slipping after 6500 rpm's.

What umbrella?

Those are 2002+ OEM NSX wheels:

17x9, +56 in rear
17x7, +60 up front

Recently got a 2nd set of these wheels so plan to run 17x9 non-stagger all around, love the rear wheels with the concave face. Super strong and weighs about 18lbs per wheel forged by BBS.

Thank you sir, this car never sees the track but does street duty as my DD as long as I don't have my kids with me

I've spared no expenses to make this car the best s2000 ever.
