Lets talk suspension...
I know that the s2000 is a very well balanced car from the factory, and that some minor tweaking and mods can actually ruin this car.
I wan't to begin to focus more on the handeling of my s2000. Im lowered on zeal b6 coilovers, and i feel im lacking some supporting mods in the suspension area.
Right now im looking into the cusco sway bars.
32mm front and 30.4mm rear.
My other options are the swift and spoon, possibly mugen.
I don't want an adjustible sway bar though.
I also plan to do a spoon x brace and the cusco 3pc subframe bar.
Any insight and opinions are appreciated

Have you done any HPDE or autocross?
What is the problem with the handling?
I would take it to the track and learn the handling characteristics and then make changes based on what your needs are.

you get what you pay for.
so what should you pay for?
a day or two of racing school. get to know everything, it will give you a better understanding of what and what not to do.

Swaybars will definitely help but you need to get the right ones to suit your driving style. I know you dislike the rear end coming around so I suggest just upgrading the front bar and leaving the rear stock. Try it that way and see how you like it. Have you gotten the new set up corner balanced yet?

I agree with this. Start with a front bar only...and reconsider getting an adjustable so you can dial it in for your driving style (if you don't, then you will have to adjust your style to the way the bar wants you to drive...not ideal).
And I wouldn't start fooling around with any other suspension bits till you are corner balanced and aligned.
Also...the best mod to make your car handle better is with the driver. I know no one likes to hear that and everyone thinks that the way to make their car faster through the twisties is by bolting something new to the car. Go to a performance driving school...the Evolution School is great and inexpensive if it is coming near your area.

Well...I can tell you of a school, but they aren't going to let you just tear it up. An instructor will teach you how to drive quickly and learn the limits of your car in a controlled way. You can tear it up afterwards.
Evolution School (http://www.autocross.com/evolution) provides a good foundation for a reasonable cost ($240). A Phase I course is being offered June 10 in Atlanta (closest to Orlando). You can read a review of the school at http://www.theracinglinemag.co...l.php.
Chin Motorsports (http://www.chinmotorsports.com/ has track days with instructors available at various track's around the southeast (Sebring, Roebling, etc). As a novice, you would be required to have an instructor until you are solo certified. These are not as controlled as Evolution and there is a risk of damaging your car. The instructors try to help...but there have been cases where some very arrogant drivers did not listen to their instructors and totaled very expensive cars.

Just go on NASA's website and select a region. Do a couple of trackdays before you buy anything else, that way you can tell whether or not you the modification helped or hurt, otherwise you would never be the wiser.

Take this advice. Put the stock suspension back on, go to multiple track events with proper instruction and start over. Otherwise you'll be buying "x" parts to fix "y" problems.
If you want to improve the handling of the car, you need to me make informed decisions on parts that will actually improve the handling to your driving style.
Do not mess with sway bars, not many people understand how they work and they should be sorted out at the time you have your shocks and spring sorted out to your driving style. If anything, keep them stock and play around with spring rates and shock valving.
Don't bother with an x-brace or cusco reinforcement bars. They are silly pieces that dump money in the pocket of the retailer/manufacturer. If you look at the bracing/bolt method used on the cusco pieces from an engineering standpoint, you'll laugh. The front x-brace is one more thing to snag on road debris to twist up your subframe besides it gets in the way of oil changes.

Enjoy your almost stock S first. The AP2's geometry is a bit more forgiving. Try the limits of that first, then you can see which parts need improving. What I noticed:
I need tires@!!!!

lol.
i have noticed how much more forgiving the ap2 is over the ap1.
i was fortunate enough to have been able to have an ap1 for two years and test its limits. my ap2 is more, lets say comfortable to drive than the ap1 was.

Re: Lets talk suspension... (FR-MOB: s2slow)
I know you hate reading this, but seriously, go to a track day first before you go blowing money away on parts. None of these parts are going to help you unless you have the confidence to drive your car at 9/10ths at least. To build that confidence, you need track experience. And lastly, do you want to be the person that goes to a track day with a bunch of mods on his S2000 and get beat by all the stock s2k's?
