Help, I think my front end is going.
I have been noticing the front end of my car feeling very loose lately and it will pull intermittently (ball joints?). It has about 92K on it so it wouldn't be surprising except that it came on so fast. I was a track day a few weeks ago though that might have loosened it up. So my question is, is there a particular week spot on S2000s that I should be looking for? I will go through it like any other car but if someone with more experience can point me int he right direction that would be awesome. I have only owned the car for about 7 months, 5 of which were in storage so I am still learning about it. If it makes a difference the car is lowered on Skunk2 springs.

nothing comes too mind. just go over everthing twice and make sure everything is ok and if somehting is loose after u tighten it mak sure to get it realigned again that could have been ur problem i the first place. the s is pretty sensative to diff allignment specs so if somehting is out of wack the car will feel like poop.

No, but it was aligned with my Enkies on, and I put the stock wheels on for a track day. Haven't switched them yet. So the S is just really sensitive to issues like this?

If you think your ball joints are bad, just yank on the wheel while the car is on the ground (upper ball joint) and then jack the car up and yank on the wheel in different directions some more to see if it moves. Give it a little punch on the tire to see if it shakes or rattles excessively.
If you put your hands at 9 O clock and 3 O clock on the wheel and pull side to side, you're testing tie rods.
12 and 6 O clock and you're testing ball joints.
This would take less time than posting the question.
You can also visually check your bushings.
Your alignment may have also slipped at the track. So have it checked again if everything else checks out good.
Also check your tires to make sure one isn't low or damaged. Not sure why nobody mentioned tires.
Not that sensitive.
