This is by far the best advice. 1. if you've never driven a RWD car before, you really need to understand the dynamics of this car. It is so much different then FWD cars.

2. The car really doesn't need "mods" it's pretty damn fast and handles really well out of the box in case you haven't noticed, however, if you HAVE to do something, I would highly recommend a Gendren front anti-sway bar upgrade.

the first time i parked it immediately after picking it up (like 15 mins after i paid and signed paperwork), i parked like normal thinking i had 6-8 inches from the concrete thing. i came out and was like OH ****. i was less than a finer gap from hitting the conrete thing. i learned real fast

removing the airbox cover doesn't do anything... it actually ends up sucking up some warm air from the engine bay and helps in making the engine heatsoaked...

but it does however make it louder hahahaha..

it actually slows the car down, causing it to bog. dyno charts have shown +'s and -'s, but all read differently compared to real world observations, which prove it slows the car down.

Well compared to my cammed GSR's vtec, the s2000 vtec is rather quiet, and once you get some bad *** speakers in your car you will never want stock ones ever again. I had components in my teg and i bought MB Quarts the same day i picked up the car, i couldnt live with the stock ones, even if it came with tweeters.

:shakes head: all you guys wasted your money if you didn't get the aem ams and 4.77 final drive. all the other mods are useless with out the aem ams. with just the ams you can see gains of 5-10 hp's on a stock motor. you are lucky if you don't lose power with i/h/e. i don't even own one but i did my research to see what i would get. if you want a nice first mod get a turbo lol, but seriously get ams and get it tuned. you will need the ams to run anything else and see a gain in hp's

ummm get your things right before you start posting in here saying people are wrong... hahahaha..... it's not an AEM AMS... (what the hell is it??) hahahaha. it's an AEM EMS...(EMS = engine management system).... and you can get more out of the EMS then 5-10hp... you can get 5-10hp from a V-AFC....secondly.. if you're going to be doing some FI on your S.. you do NOT want 4.77 gears...... you're gonna go with 4.44's or 4.57...
