Finally bought one....2007 BB s2k
I wanted one of these ****ing things for 10 years now...finally got one.
Crappy pics...I promised myself I wouldn't drive it again until next weekend since I put 124 miles on it yesterday, I didn't take it out of the garage...I love it...minus the CDV, which will be deleted soon enough

Nice buy. But...why are you promising yourself not to enjoy something that you've wanted for 10 years?

What? Why? You hate money?
You're crazy. The CR lip looks **** lol. It is OEM also, BTW. The lip looks a lot better when the car is lowered. I'm glad I went with a CR lip instead of the base AP2 lip.

Mine are 17X7.5 and 17X9 +45 all around. The tires are 225/45 and 265/40. They previously rubbed at the height my car is at.
So you need around -2.3 degrees of camber up front with the fender tabs crushed or cut off (cut off is better). Cut slits out of the outer fender liner...or let the tire cut them for you as they scrape lol.
The rear has the fender lip rolled, undercoated and painted for rust prevention after the chips lol. The bumper tab is cut and relocated.
I track the car. If you don't track it or you ride higher, you may not need as many fender mods. It never rubs after the fender mods.
I love that the car is super nice and neutral after my secret sneaky spec alignment lol. I Use the OUTER edge of AP2 rear toe specs. The car is a 00 AP1.

Re: Finally bought one....2007 BB s2k
I disagree about the diff. I have no CDV. I have an Exedy Hyper single on off switch (AKA clutch). I have 265mm width Direzza Z1 starspecs. I have launched the car at 8k RPM at autocrosses. Kicked the clutch in 1st gear to make the car rotate. Done un known amounts of donuts. Done 45 second long burn outs, albeit on shitty tires (LITERALLY....have the video to prove this). Done other burn outs all the time. Launched the car for fun on the street. Been to the drag strip.
FWIW, I track my car very often also. A couple years ago, it was averaging 1 track day for every 1000 street miles.
41k miles. Original weak *** AP1 diff.
You'd have to be REALLY trying to break the diff. I've been trying. No luck. It is a little clunky now though....after 4 years....
I've said the same thing on other forums too. Yeah, breaking the diff is on my mind sometimes. But they're down to between $300-600 now and they're pretty straight forward to replace. Definately not a reason not to enjoy the car. Blow up, rinse, repeat.

B serious - i ride mine pretty hard too with no issues *touchwood* - my point was: that was why they added it, as it does seem to affect others a lot (Reddot for eg).
now i'm thinking about the CR lip - damn it, i can not settle on which lip for my car..

Yeah, but that guy's like the worst guy ever, though...
Suuuper sexual. Nicely done.
CR lip is the best, dude. I had a lot of opposition from friends when I was buying it. I had the vision that it would look good. I ended up LOVING It. Everyone else seems to think it's rad now also.
