i like how the T1R 70R-EM Limited Exhaust sounds. its cheap too from evasive, and its better than the 60rs by j's racing!

is it true that most or some after market exhausts don't make that much hp.... I heard it only makes like 3hp or something like that.,...is that true?

yep!
Some even lose HP in mid-range.
The single's are generally a safe bet. If you're gettin duals though, do some research.

I had HKS highpower on my last S2000 with a testpipe and it sounded AMAZING. It sounded totally different than every other typical Honda out there. There was NO drone at all either. Every single person who heard it commented on how amazing it sounded.
Internet sound clips are a poor representation of how an exhaust sounds. I really want to get some sort of baller exhaust for my new one, but I'm afraid I'll spend $3000 on an exhaust that I don't like as much as my old HKS.

I was skeptical of any exhaust for my S2000. I had yet to hear an exhaust I truelly loved. I took a chance and got a barely used Magnaflow Ti exhaust. I couldn't be happier. I did not install the exhaust for performance. It was a pure looks and sound addition. The sound is hard to describe. Exotic. Not raspy, not tinny. Truelly has a deep tone that no sound clip can capture.

Re: favorite s2k exhaust (melsun_ap1)
Here in New Zealand, they're having a bit of a crack down on loud exhausts - i have a J's racing intake and a test pipe on the way. Is this going to affect the sound a huge amount - does anyone have any experience with this or a similar set up?
Also, i am toying with the idea of getting the EKS HiPower 409 Dual exhaust - at peak db it's about the same as stock, but i'm not sure what it sounds like at normal revs (2k - 5k) - anyone know?
Also, also, for the same exhaust i believe it weighs about the same as the stock exhaust and produces about the same power - is this right?
Cheers.

Re: (MADEinJAPAN)
Dang, it looks like I'm not going to be the only one with a J's Racing Ti exhaust in Colorado. lol
Which do you have? I have a 70RS coming, probably be here around Marchish, hopefully sooner.
GPW FTW. Car looks great!
What part of Denver are you in?
