its a good clutch...a little stronger than oem clutch so it could be a pain if you are in traffic a lot...mostly though you will not need a non-oem clutch onless you are forced induction.

Re: (Jason_Sti)
I heard nothing but good things about Exedy. The only problem i've remotely seen is that they might be little to stiff for daily driving depending on certain application.
I should soon be receiving my ACT Stage II Heavy duty pressure plate w/ a stage II performance Rigid street disc very soon this week, so i'll gladly let you know.

Well coming for the AWD drive family...and now to the Honda world...lol
Most of the Evo's and Sti's at 400whp the Exedy just starts to slip real bad.

I've used an exedy stage 1 clutch on my past car and loved it. It's a great clutch cause it grabs harder than stock, and the pedal is not that stiff compared to other aftermarket clutches.
The exedy stage 1 is a good clutch if you are remaining N/A...if you plan on going FI, then you will need something stronger that will hold up to the increased HP...like a stage 2 or 3.

Most of the ACT clutches ive seen fail on higher HP cars they always end up switching to Exedy..but this is turbo clutches, multi disk not sure how they do on single streetable clutches, but Exedy gets a :thumbs UP: from me

The Comp. Clutch ironman can hold upto 600whp. There aren't that many S2000's out there that need more than that. The exedy twin carbons are the mother of clutches for the S2000 but cost $3000 and rattle to hell and aren't the best for the street since you can't get them hot enough on the highway. The hyper single I am not a fan of since it wears so fast and doesn't hold much over 350whp.

You guys are aware that exedy makes most of the stock clutches for hondas.
Exedy is a very good company and their quality is good imo. Like I said before, the exedy stage 1 is a great clutch for n/a applications.
Look into exedy, I know that you will not be disappointed.

the biggest problem i have with the s2k is the clutch. it was always too touchy and weak when doing a burnout. i always thought it was a very weak part and didnt belong in the car...so that would explain it.

what about the clutch buzz?
I felt weird driving my friend's car without the buzz.
