no **** i know u don't drive ep3's. but i'm sure someone has/had an ep3 wheel on their s2 before.
thanks,i knew someone on here had an ep3 wheel. i'm gonna swap my ap1 wheel for someones ep3 and just keep my airbag. i just wanted to make sure it was the same size, (i don't want a bigger steering wheel)

OBVIOUSLY theyre 2 completely different steering wheels... but the splines on the wheel are the same. the cruise control buttons are different though (00-01 s2k cruise has 2-buttons, ep3 and iirc 02+ s2k's have 3 button)
ep3
s2k
btw if youre looking to buy an s2000 steering wheel, im selling mine

great. i actually have a prelude with a ap1 wheel. i wanted to switch it out for a ep3 one and put my ap1 airbag in it. I just wanted to make sure the size of the wheel were the same, i like the feel and size of the s2.

You are incorrect. The AP1 airbag works just fine in an EP3 steering wheel ring.
The EP3 wheel and AP1 wheel are the EXACT same steering wheel ring design. The differences are in the cosmetics of the leather and the stitching. The internals for the horn and cruise control mounting are a little different also. These internals can swap over between one ring and the next.
Here is some proof.

The secret is to swap in an EK or EM1 (96-00 Civic) steering column. They literally have the same design concept except for the splines are bigger in the 96-00 Civic. The only major difference COULD be the length. The column I found was advertised as an EK column, but the length was shorter. I ended up going to a machine shop to have them lengthen the bottom section. I later found out from another person that thier "EK" column was the correct length. So I am not sure if there are a couple versions of the 96-00 Civic steering column.
Once the swapped steering column is in, then the other secret is to use an S2000 clock spring and wire harness so the horn, SRS, and cruise control plug right in behind the wheel. I did all the custom splicing to the EG/EJ dash harness under the dash, not behind the steering wheel. My cruise and horn work great. I am MOSTLY sure that the EG/EJ SRS computer will also work with the single stage AP1 airbag I have, but until I am 100% sure, or I am ready to find a replacement AP1 airbag, I will leave the airbag disconnected.

Toy Civic:
You're probly the guy to ask this. Judging by your knowledge, and I have been wondering for years now, will a JDM EK Civic Type R steering wheel hook up to an AP2 S2k? I Have always wanted to swap to the JDM wheel because of my roots in EK's

My 06 steering wheel is made by MOMO.. it has the red stitching and the momo logo on the bottome of the middle spoke..
Ive never seen another s2k with that wheel..
any idea what mine is off?
Its identical to the stock wheel, but with momo on it
