I believe that if the item is CARB legal, then you are fine. Some folks say that it's also a good idea to carry the CARB Certificate with you just in case the cops want to give you a hard time.

yeah you will pass. just stick the carb sticker it comes with on the inside of your hood. you should be fine in case any cops try to hassle you
