hey no worries

I hope your honda luck gets better .

i'm actually looking to get into either a 92-98 318ci, 325i, or 328ci myself as a winter, and summer beater...i really like the way the handle in bad road conditions, and i would probally be looking to find one with the winter package, because they have heated seats....how do you like it? i'm looking for someone to sell me on this car, so i wont have to hear my g/f bitch anymore.

They are great cars. Mine didnt have the winter package but it did well in rain and bad weather. I almost got a e36 m3 instead of the s but i wanted something newer, and my friends s200 sold me on mine. When i get out of college i plan on getting a e46 m3.

Aww man i'm hungry i think i'm going to get some pizza. Good luck with the clutch. Actually when do you plan on putting that in? hopefully before i get back home from BMW school. I worked on an e46 M3 today and i have to say, if you test drove one you would trade your car in in a heartbeat. That is a nice car, i know its all hyped up but like its really a quality car, oooo i got to do launch control with the sequential manual gearbox. It pulls Strong and Hard, how every topless beautie should be. However i do like your prettie lil honda, you'll come around no doubt about it. I mean who does not love this sound.... 1.5L bored to 1.8L welded head and monster turbo= M power

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Flexmyrex &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">It is true, honda does not recommend to have their flywheels resurfaced because of stepped pressure plate mounting surface. This is only true when it comes to using the oem stuff, as far as aftermarket pressure plates go i have no idea. You have to contact the manufacturer to see whether they use a stepped surface. For the oem stuff I never resurfaced them at the dealer, I would only replace it if the flywheel had heat cracks or were beyond runout spec.
On my personal and friends cars I always resurface the oem flywheel for the peace of mind but that was with aftermarket clutch kits.
The sand paper could possibly been a contributing factor to yours prematurely wearing out but who knows, next time try using a rubber/plastic compound to clean it off. </TD></TR></TABLE>

Correct. This is to prevent shops from machining too much material off and going below minimum thickness.

All BS aside, go all stock, 2002+. Unless your hamster is on steroids of course, then you smear some hamster jizz on the friction disc for more grip.
