CD Player Anti-Theft Error?
Yo guys got a quicky for yas. I just got my battery replaced yesterday and when I went to put a CD in the CD player I noticed that the anti theft light was flashing red. Needless to say, the CD player would not work. On the display screen it reads CODE and I have the option to put in a 4 digit numeric password. The problem is, I do not know what the default code is because I do not have a users manual. I tried a few like 1111 and 9999 and now it says Error 2, so I don't want to continue until I get the correct one. The CD player is factory/stock in a 2000 S2000. Hopefully someone has had a similar problem, thanks!

Every time you take the CD player out or the battery gets disconnected/dies, you have to punch in your anti-theft code. If you've forgotten it, go to your local Honda dealership and they can get it for you. Good luck.

Hold buttons 1 and 6 while turning the radio on. Disregard the Letters you get, and write down the numbers...two sets will flash up. That is your radios serial number. Take that and you vin to your honda dealer and they can get you the radio code. If you don't use the 1 and 6 method you have to pull the radio out.
