Default Bad Vibration In Rear

I noticed this vibration after the installation of my coilovers. When accelerating the vibration gets worse. But when at cruising speeds there is very minor vibration. The vibration is coming from the rear as far as i can tell.

I replaced the the diff about a year ago and the right axle. I read somewhere that someone replaced there axle with a re manufactured axle and it caused bad vibration. Could this be the problem.

After lowering your S the axles slightly get stretched and will cause the vibrations. There 2 ways to fix this problem.

1. Is by buying shaft spacers

^The red pieces

2. Free. By switching your inner cv joints-A how to-http://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=241367

I myself went with the spacers. Installed them by myself and took me about an hour. The more you drive with the rear shaking the worse your axle's will get.

Switching your inner cv's will take more time and you got to know exactly what you are doing.

Good luck

Classic vibration from lowering. Halfshaft spacer fixes it for $100

Alignment will not fix this kind of problem.

All or most spacers come in 10mm size.

I am almost 100% positive this will fix or help the problem.

i concur. i had the same issue with mine. but my rear was too low, so i raised it back up and the vibration went away.

but i've had experience with other s2k's and the spacers always fix it.

Thank you, I will do the spacers. I could only find T1R spacers and another brand. I also found megan racing spacers for 99$. I dunno about those, any thoughts on them. Or just go with the T1R I found them for 150.

I have T1R spacers. Usually doesn't matter on what spacer you go with, its just a 10mm wide piece of metal. Hell, you can machine your own if you are good with metal.

But for a easier install i recommend getting 2 piece spacers. One piece spacers arent that hard to install anyway.
