Default axle spacers?

I was wondering who all is using axle spacers on their s2k? I've seen these but never really understood how much of a difference they would make. I know it'll straighten out the geometry and take some of the load off of the axles from being flexed when lowered but how much of a difference will they make as far as ride comfort, handling, and wear on the axles?

Any brands anyone recommends as well that you think they are worthwhile?

And will installing the spacers affect how far the wheels stick out on the sides(trackwidth)? I'm already pushing what I'll be able to run with just rolling fenders and not having to put a widebody kit or extended fenders on and if they are going to extend the actual mounting point of the wheel it would be a definite no-go.

They are not really needed unless you are lowered 2+ inches.

As for brands, it all depends if you're a brand ***** or not and which brands you prefer over the other. All it is is a spacer that anyone can make. If you have access to a CNC machine you could make one as well for a fraction of the price.

If you are going to get the spacers, go for the 2 piece ones as there much easier to install.

thats what i did, i went on ebay and got no names for pretty cheap. The spacers are great, the nuts and bolts that come with it are not so great. I read and heard about the bolts stretching when you tighten it and thought i'd go ahead and give it a shot since i didnt know who the otehr guy bought from. Sure enough they stretched, I went out and bought some grade 10 bolts at the hard ware store and put them on with ease.

No it does not stick the wheel out any further.
