I'm on S2ki.com as SiAdam.

The manifold was not originally a/c friendly, but I did buy a kit from a sponser on S2ki.com that allows you to move it.

It's in, just not 100% buttoned down yet.

The rims are staying, I like the look and who cares if they are "rotas". Nothing wrong with them. I'm not a brand *****, like what I like.

I wouldn't say hard, just take your time, follow the instructions and it goes pretty straightforward. It took me several, several hours, but now I could cut that time in 1/2.

First time always takes the longest.

I did 98% of the work myself, my buddy came down and helped lower/put it back in.

Helps ALOT to have a 2nd pair of hands. I did this on jackstands.

I agree, it's not hard work, it's just time consuming getting everything out of the way to lower the motor to get to the clutch. once you're ready to take the tranny out you realistically need a second pair of hands. for as big as it is the tranny isn't that heavy, it's noticeably lighter than my B-series tranny that's for sure.

the PFAB stuff always looks great, just the fitment seems to require a lot of work. another guy's build on here is PFAB stuff and the install looked more intrusive than the full-race or CFT kits. his is a top mount setup though, is your's a top mount too? hard to tell from the shots.

be sure to break in that clutch properly. I ordered my competition clutch from Inline Pro and they said they don't sell the stage 4 kits anymore due to problems with the clutch glazing over.

and the car looks great with the rims, for $50 out of pocket you can't beat that.

Well the clutch is going to get broken in on the dyno...so we shall see.

Mine isn't the crazy agressive one. Jeff Evans says he uses this clutch on all his s2k builds.

It's a topmount, the quality seems good, however the fitment could be better...

if he's done it that way before then I guess it's ok, I've just seen a few boosted guys kill their clutches not breaking them in before boosting the car.

top mounts look cool, puts the turbo all up high on display

i always break in the clutch during dyno so you should be fine. and anyway goodluck with the build. everything looks to be going all well.

I appreciate the advice man. I will doing the initial break-in on the dyno, and then once it's tuned I'll take it easy for 500 miles or so.
