Re: 2jz s2000
For the money you'd spend on the fabrication and the s2000 itself, you could probably just buy a TT Supra. Why would you ruin a F20C/F22C for a SJZ? The Supra puts up impressive numbers, but there isn't anything special with putting two turbos on an inline 6. There is something impressive with squeezing 240HP out of a 2.0L engine.

Re: 2jz s2000
For those asking or wondering about the shifter , just take a look the cup holder still functional and the shifter is only 11/2 back (I don't think is that bad, it only looked f**ck up when 50/50 did it) we have the solution for those that want to use the 6 speed tranny, and as far as the crossmember goes we made one out of crhomoly located in front of the radiator under the cooling plate.
The weight of the car like someone was saying earlier it doesn't get compromised as much (look at the timming belt cover that's right next to the strut towers , like the F20/F22), I belive this swap it's for someone looking into the 4 digits HP numbers.
Now check out the inside:

Re: 2jz s2000
Thanks for clearing that up: 50/50 looked like about 8 inches back from the stock location. Yours looks quite livable.

That doesn't throw off the weight of the car as much as many people make it out to be. With that motor swapped in, the car still handles great. Add a very good aftermarket suspension and you've improved it as well. Yes the weight ratio might be altered, then again, isn't that the case if someone rides in the car with you? I mean hell, having a passenger is basically the same difference in weight, actually it's probably a bigger difference.
I don't know why people knock that motor swap. It's pretty damn neat and the motor has far more potential (number wise) than an F20C/F22C.
Anyways, contact Andre up above. He is very helpful.

Just like the F20/22C...
I'm sure it won't throw it off THAT much, but I'd rather have a 50/50 car than a 55/45 car...
And besides I hear the 2jz's have very little low end torque anyways....which means you may as well turbo an F22C and have similar HP...UNLESS you are going for like 800whp+

Re: 2jz s2000
Hey man, dont let some of these peoples rude opinions get to you. If you want to do the swap more power to you. Ive seen a 2jz s2000 in person its not a bad swap at all. Sure the car might not handle as good but you can laugh when you pass them in the straights.
On a real note, one of the guys that did the original swap *cough cough* lived in the boro. Some good friends of his say the swap isnt as pad as people make it out to be. In fact one mention slightly modifying the stock mounts. Other than that makeing electronics and ohming to make sure everything is in place and geting the power it needs would be the hardest part, as with any 2jz swap AKA in skyline, 240 and even BMW.
Any driveshop place can make a drive shaft.
Hope this helps, although i personally wouldnt spend the money when our motor is just fine the way it is for boost.

Re: 2jz s2000
Because a stock 2JZ will also put down 700whp, more torque and a far more enjoyable power bad. Dont even compare that little 2.0L 4 cylinder to that amazing 3.0 6. People have made over 1000whp on stock 2JZ's. 9k redline? yea... they can be built to turn that high too but will get to 700whp in 7,500 lol.

S2000's are light and RWD... yet even with power there drag times are not impressive. Why? They cant move off the line with power bands like this. I can almost guarantee you that 2JZ s2000 posted above would run a better 1/4 mile than the 700whp S2000.
