he either never checked it right, or most likely- he's a hard driver.

Worst I've gotten is 21mpg.

19-20 on the average

shift at lower rpms, and dont drive the crap out of it and you could achieve better mpgs.

^ basicly just keep momentum and ur mpgs should stay towards the higher range. i have gotten as low as 18 and as high as 24 city.

He probably just does not have an accurate perception of what he is getting. The cars get good gas millage for a sporty car.

That's about what I get. I got my lowest tank ever this weekend (26ish mpg) and it was on my way out to Ohio and back doing 80 mph. Prior to that, I got 28 for 3 straight tanks but it was either driving to/from work or on a lower speed highway (60ish, stupid 94 construction).

eh wrong? did I ever say what rpm range I was speaking of, dont jump ahead of yourself now. you dont consider 3500 - 4000 rpm low range which you stated, that sounds about right to me, so dont jump ahead and state someone is definitely wrong until you can do so confidently. friendly piece of advice.

i get about 27 hwy and 23-25 in the city. I do mostly hwy driving. On a trip to and from orlando i got about 320 miles to my tank. Filling up 12.1 gallons when i filled. Of course that was 6th the whole way. he must be filling up when he sees the light come on AND he might have a couple light bars missing from the cluster.

I just always fill up at 3 bars. I dont know if its just mine but the last 3 go down so fast. A couple times I get home with 3 turn my car on and I have 1!
