if you are looking for cheap but big difference in your s2k then you need to read TURBO mags tech article about a crazy f20 2.4L stroker kit. you can buy all the parts at your local dealer all you need is h22 pistons and rods, and k24 crank....google the article and you will be blown away that someone figured this out. and am in the process of stroking my f20 with this set up....

use forged h22 internals and its still cheaper than a stroker, plus there is no block mods if your sleeves are decent.

Anyone read the new turbo mag yet? k24 crank + h22 pistons, rods = 2.4 f20c

I'm actually interested in knowing about the outcome...sometimes these things are worth it, and sometimes they aren't. I didn't personally know about this, but I know that someone has to experiment, so better him than me! :D
Anywho, don't forget to let us know how the results are, iconipower!

using h22 pistons in an f20c is about as retarded as using vitara's in a d-series.
the compression height is wrong, the piston ends up way down in the hole
the pin offset ends up on the wrong side making the **** noisy and likely to break a piston
the valve angles are different, meaning the valve reliefs are wrong
h22 rods are too short to be reliable with a 99mm crank.

so i take it you have done this set up then or know someone who tried it and didnt work?....half of you ppl on here are a$$ holes...if you really have the time to sit here and rag on something different that someone is try'n then you need a new outlet for your time....im sorry if you are affended by this set up for a stroker kit...but i dont need your negitive pointless input...if you have something constructive to say (even negitive such as you tried this and it didnt work) please be my guest and post on it....other wise take your hated for something you dont agree with and post your own thread.....and i recommend titling it "F%&8 everybody".....

i hope i make 240wheel and better low end torque from the shorter stroke ratio....what would be the best to tune this with hondata? or is it even needed

the point is that this setup is WRONG, just because the parts fit together dosnt mean they are right. There is nothing wrong with a stroker motor, but k24 crank with h22 rods and pistons does not fit properly in an f2xC block.

they fit with machining... but i would still much rather buy a stroker kit.
i think i would much rather use an f22c crank/rods and build the head. seems like you can get similar numbers for the same price WHILE using f-series specific parts

h22 rods are still too short, h22 pistons are still designed for a motor that spins the wrong way and the compression height is too short to work with the h22 rods in the f2xc block. the pistons sit way down in the hole

lol i didnt read the thread, he wanted to use the H22 rods designed for 90.7mm stroke crank in place of the F20 or F22C's 97/99?! hahaha
