***I tried searching for the information in Recent and Archived topics, but I didn't find anything...

Hey guys.
I'm looking for an H23A1 Intake Manifold and I've found a few here and there... But then I found an F22A1 Intake Manifold for half the price of the others...
So, my questions are...
- Are the H23A and F22A IMs the same?
- And if not, what are the differences between them??

I'm honestly not sure whether they are compatible and I don't know much about the base 92-96 Preludes, but if it's the same manifold on the Accord f22a1, they are very different manifolds. The H23 manifold flows better and uses dual runners which opens up a set of butterflys above a certain RPM (~5000?) to let more air in. Even if you do get it to bolt up, you'll most likely be losing quite a bit of power. I'd hold out for an H23 manifold if I were you.

Well, I know the actual manifolds are totally different, being that the H23 does have the dual runners and is larger then the F22, but the mounting flanges could easily be the same...I'm pretty sure the Hondata IM gasket works for both F22 and H23...look it up.

FYI, there's H23 IMs on ebay all the time.

im pretty sure they are the same...ex manni bolt up the same..h23 IM is far superior...bigger TB..better flow and has dual runners..f22 is small and very restrictive...

the H23 will (but not the H22) intake manifold will bolt up to the Prelude S model head, I have done this before.
