Default What Honda brake pads are interchangeable? UPDATED LIST!!!

I was browsing on ebay for brake pads for my 2000 lude and saw that some sellers listed that they fit the Oddessy, CRV, 90-02 accord, legend, integra type R, i know the rear pads fit only the type R , but the front pads seem to be interchangeable with most honda models....Anyway i figured the part numbers for the front break pads start with 45022-xxx-xxx does this mean that any pads with the 5 digit number that matches will fit the lude?

Thanks in advance!

I would say if any are interchangeable, it would be a 4 cyl. accord, not sure on the rest...

CR-V front rotors and pads are the same spcification they are cheaper also, isn't that strange ? Exactly same size, spec, fixing. But you mention the name " Prelude" and all of a sudden the prices jump up ?

i was thinking maybe the pad material is different, but they are all semi-metallic pads.

The material is usually the same anyway for the range of pads you choose, I run PBR metal master which you can buy for CR-V/Prelude so no difference in size or fit , just the name of car. oh & the price ?

Any compatibilities for the fourth gen? There aren't that many cars with the same lug as the fourth are there? Except for the 240sx.

Anybody in here with non 4-G prelude brake parts?

Not completely true. The caliper brackets are slightly diffrent. Preludes are 23t and i beleive type R's are 25t The diffrences account for variations in rotor thickness. The same goes for Accords, Ledgens and so forth. I have VTEC prelude brakes swapped onto my Accord. (OEM upgrade for me )

^^Cool bit of info. There are always fine lines with suspension components between hondas. There's always ands, ifs, or buts that can be missed.
