4th gen, You can tell by the tranny mount. Definetely a nice set-up... I like the shift fork. I'm not a fan of painted engines/tranny's that are missing forks. If you 'spray painted' it, expect one giant mess over time. Don't even think about hitting it with any sort of cleaner either.

What did I do tonight? I ripped apart another 5th gen after a leakdown test showed 80% leakage in cylinder 3, lol. Just when the custom turbo kit was finished and ready to be tuned

Damn valves.

remember that 4 door accord with the straight t4?
that one seemed like a good one. good spool and good power. still not sure though.
something crazy would be nice, but it's only a 3" turbo back exhaust.

power goals? more than enough should do just fine.

isn't the type S tranny an ATTS tranny?

is it a SiR tranny?

That's me.

Definetely a very very nice build. I did my turbo and fuel setup before i did my motor build just to ensure the power goals that i had would be met.

PM if you have any questions about my turbo or help on choosing a bigger turbo.

It did have ATTS.
There was the SiR-S spec tranny, which could concievably be confused for a Type-S tranny (since most JDM engine importers just lump the SiR S-spec engine in with the Type-S ones) but I don't think it was special in any way...it just had a factory LSD which they arn't using anyway *shrug*

We are using a RPM Service 70mm TB.

As for the tranny , when we did the auto to 5 speed swap , this tranny was all we could find at the time. The shop that we had got it from said that it was a JDM type S tranny. It probably isn't, didn't care at the time . Had them throw in a Kazz LSD , and got them to send do the clutch and flywheel at the same time.

The build took place before the new turbo set up cause, with the current set up we ended up breaking ring lands. One call to Earl and now we have this. We are going to see what the set up that we have is capable of and then start planning for what the engine is capable of.

Thanks for all the thumbs up. We will keep ya updated as it gets closer and closer to being finished.

How much did that run you?

I just picked up my new throttle body. It's a 90mm TB off of a Infiniti Q45. I got it for $50 lol. We are working on an adapter plate tomorrow for it. Now i need to upgrade to 3" IC piping .

Hey i tell you what. You can buy my turbo from me. It has less than 1000 miles on it. I'm looking into going bigger already

haha, thanks, cause you know, if 600hp isn't enough for you, I'm sure it'll be enough for this guy....

90mm eh... maybe my car needs a 70mm tb and this guy needs a 90mm....

hmmmmmmmmmmmm.

just to bring you guys up to date, no one noticed that the fork was missing from the transmission, so we had to drop that and put it in today. so we're right back where we were last night (other issues too. ie, friends not knowing how to drive and putting their cars into curbs).
