i have a 98 prelude with a h22a4 in it. i was wondering what the safest way to go is as far as turbo charging it.. what should i do to the engine to make it last with it being turbo charged?

sleeves, low compression pistons, rods, engine management. those would be a good start.

Don't push the motor to its limits. Get a very good solid tune on it with a Hondata or AEM EMS. The tune is EVERYTHING.

if you get a solid tune and keep the boost at 7-8 psi you shouldn't have any issues. do a compression test first though. or you could build the motor. i blew the ringlands on my first motor.. its fully built now.

Dont skimp out on fuel mods. A sufficient pump, fpr, injectors, and a good management system should be the bare minimum
