Turbo on h22 with s300
H22 with s300 fully built for all motor. 11.5:1 compression. Wanting to turbo no more than 10 psi. Just wanted to know if the s300 would control it or will I need aftermarket map sensors ect.? Thanks

Uh, what setup?
Unless u want to use check valves - get an aftermarket map sensor for about $50.
Oh, and don't use an fmu with hondata - get fuel injectors, fuel pump, and whatever else you think you may need.

Don't boost that. You have a great setup going. You need to get an RMF header and get that bitched tuned - and you should make some amazing power.
You will have a very hard time boosting that - the results would not be great at all. You'd have to pull timing so much, and those cams wouldn't do well with boost.
Oh, if you do decide to boost, yeah - use a knock sensor - you don't have to, but I would. Can't do that with the p28 though.

Re: (The Weather Man)
Yeah, I am still debating on turbo but if I dont go turbo I will most likely spay on it. Yeah can't wait to get it retuned. The first time it was tuned it wasnt making good power because of the secondaries werent opening and I forgot that p28 didnt have control of them. So I guess I will see soon on what it will do. Thanks alot

Oh thats too bad. Don't even worry about spray and don't worry about boost.
I'm tellin u, a good header will work u wonders. In conjunction with a good tune.
What size is your exhaust?
Don't spray - you'll just shorten the life of your engine. Maybe look into getting an lsd, great suspension - just hook it up the right way.

Re: (The Weather Man)
Well it has 2.5" without cat back to a apexi n1 muffler. And it has the JDM tranny with lsd in it and the for the suspension it has kyb agx with eibach pro springs. I dont know what i am going to end up doing with it. I guess I will see what the new tune will do for me and just go from there.

With the s300 I advise you to run the MoTeC 3 bar map sensor if you are looking at running more than 11psi of boost. MoTeC seems to work the best with the 3 bar calibrations. If you need one we stock both MoTeC 3 bars and Hondata s300's.

I'm not a boost aficionado by any means, but isn't 11.5:1 compression pretty high for a turbo?
Sounds like an excellent setup. Get a SMSP or something like it, dyno it, tune it and you'll be amazed by the power yields, I'm sure.
