Default For those who have a 94-95 Accord lip on their 4th gens.....

I was wondering what exactly you have used to cut the excess portion of the lip off, leaving a nice, clean edge.....I dont want to put on a new lip just to have it look ghetto or half assed. I was thinking maybe a saws'all but it seems like it would need to be sanded after,idk....thanks for the replies

I don't have the lip but common sense says to go to a hardware store and get a cheap miter box and hack saw. They have blades for metal that have very fine teeth that should work and leave a fine edge on plastic. The miter box will give an exact 90 degree cut as long as you clamp it in. Some miter boxes come with clamps also.

Cool, thanks. Also where is the place to find the rear valances/lips off of the same year accords? I thought junk yards would be a good choice to source them but the guy said they usually get ruined when they are moved by the forklift.Where did u pick yours up,if u dont mind me asking?

looks good with the mudflaps still on there too. I never really liked them, but with the rear lip, I guess it helps to hide the edge where it has to be trimmed. I think the Accord sides and front lip are a must have too though because it brings the rear of the car a little too low, just my opinion though.

Actually, it already comes with stock front and side lips, the rear was the only part that didn't have an abs lip on it. So just adding the accord rear brings it down together at about the same level. But replacing the front and sides just finishes it off (depending on what you're going for)

I used a hand saw to cut the rear lip. If you have the OEM mud guards, then you could do what I did:

It hides the imperfections.

We never got a rear lip here in the USDM. I have heard the EDM has an OEM rear lip and JDM probably does too, so that's most likely what the holes are for.

They(black ludes rear lips) are from 94-95 accords, and my question is about the mud flap....are they originally from an accord or from preludes?Or are they prelude fronts that are used on the rear wheel well? Thanks

Also I found a place on ebay with the rear valances brand new,but they are about 120$ shipped,so I think I will just stick with the junk yards.
