Which SPC Alignment Kit Do I Need?
I bought my car with Eiback Sportline Springs installed. They drop the car 1.7in in the front and 1.5 in the rear. I love them to death but my tires are wearing out unevenly and the first inner inch of tread is completely bald. I want to install an alignment kit before I buy new tires so the tread wears out evenly next time around.
Which kit do I need? There are two. The first one offers -1.5 to +1.5 degrees of adjustment. The other one offers an adjustment range from +1.5 to +3.0 degrees of adjustment.

just an fyi if you get the one that the guy above recommend you will only be able to correct your negitive camber by 1.5 degree (thats what the + means)
I had the same question with my 5th gen when i got my H&R Race springs 2.0F/1.8R - i had to change it cause my upper ball joint was bad even before i lowered my car. but i got the +1.5 to +3.0 and when i got them installed they had to adjust it to around +2.4 - +2.6 on each side thats how bad my neg camber was and now i have it set at -0.65 to -0.75 just in the front (i didn't change back)

Re: Which SPC Alignment Kit Do I Need?
I understand camber increases handling. However I want my tires to wear out evenly so they last longer. Instead of only one inch of my tires wear out and the rest stay beefy.
I'm looking at my most recent alignment results. My Toe was good. However my Camber was -1.8 & -2.1 in the front and -2.1 & -2.4 in the rear which is a full degree off the specified range for all four corners.
I have another question. Would getting springs with less of a drop such as Eibach Pro kit get rid of my camber/tire tread problem? 1.2-1.0in drop
thanks guys

when you correct the toe after drop, its more of a angled wear the majority of the tire, like 6 out of the 7 inches is worn harder than the one outside inch, instead just the corner of the tire wearing hard.
rough estimate 1" drop = 1 degree neg camber, anything under 2 degrees isnt that aggressive for tire wear, don't worry about it.
Thirdly, dont go by what the springs say the drop will be, if your still on stock springs, your car could very well be sagging already and the springs may in fact raise the car a bit.. Just get the pro kit. Then get a an alignment with the money you save not buying camber "correction kits"

That's what I was wondering because 3 our of my 4 tires are above 2 degrees. I think I'll just get the pro kit then. I hear the camber kit raises the car a little anyway.
