One O2 Sensor conversion to Two O2 Sensors
I have a 1997 H22A4 engine swap in my 1992 Honda Prelude SI. when the swap happened the ECU I used for the H22A4 expects two O2 Sensors. My car only has wiring for 1. The guy who did my swap for me told me he wired both sensors into the existing one sensor.
Driving in PA this was never a problem and the car ran perfectly. When getting it inspected, no one ever questioned the constantly lit check engine light. Now that I live in Nevada, they are giving me flack about the check engine light.
How have other solve the one O2 sensor conversion to two O2 sensors?

Re: One O2 Sensor conversion to Two O2 Sensors
I do not think that will work with what I need. I am looking to find out how people have used an ECU that requires two O2 sensors on a car that only has one.
Thank you for your input anyway

do the swap the right way.
you have an obd1 car, keep all engine stuff obd1. meaning get rid of the second sensor completely, and use an obd1 ecu

Interesting thought. I was told my H22A4 had to have the matching ECU.
I will look into that.
Thanks
