Oil ?
I have a quick ? If my car is buring oil can I put in a heavier weight oil to my stop the buring from being as bad. Ive been runnin 5/30 scine I got it and that was at 150000 it has 162000 on it now also the previous owner ran 5/30 as well Im not sure on what brand.

you can run thicker oil as a band aid. 10w40 would be a good step up. you can also try engine restore in a can. that **** works pretty well and i'm speaking with experience.

i put a can or restore in to see if it does any thing. also i got a filter mag to pull alot of the metal particles out of the oil, that way maybe i would help with the engine wear, and maybe the restore stuff can work longer with out having to use it every oil change.
Also i used some lucas oil stablizer in some other cars and it slowed the oil usage alot, there is alot of crap saying its not good, but it does slow oil consumption.

i read mostly good reviews, some neutral, and very few bad reviews but those people probably had a huge problem to begin with.
i decided to try it myself and have to say the results are great!

Those are some good answers but is there any additive that is proven to help stop or reduce buring oil that someone on here has used before
