Need Some Truth: 5th Gen Pass. Airbag
ive searched a couple of diff. threads and there is some people that say you can re-use the airbag cover to the passanger airbag after removing it but some say you cant

Are you asking if an air bag has been blown if you can reuse it? If so, I believe it wouldn't even be worth trying to repack and use again....If you're wanting a whole new air bag with cover, I have one for sale. Just let me know if you're interested

you can re-use the cover the airbag doesnt even have to be there if you have a cover thats not damaged you can use it........unless i misread or misunderstood ya question

no the airbag has not been deployed. i was asking if i just take the airbag out for weight reductuion purposes can i re-use the airbag cover after removing the airbag

you're at least going to put the cover back on right? You can unhook the air bag itself from the cover

What sucks tho is that air bag can go for a couple hundred bucks :\ .. what I wanted to do was get the cover from a deployed one, but im told they are ripped apart when they go off. I wasnt sure if taking off the cover from a good air bag would be save or not.

yea, when the air bag goes off, it tears open the cover. I actually have one sitting in my garage right now
