Default need some inspiration!!!!

I am looking to buy a 1995 prelude, with the (2.3L?)non v-tech motor, in it.

just wanted some opinions of this motor and it's capabilities, as far as horsepower,
forced induction set ups ect. I am a former DSM guy and have been building
talons/eclipse cars for years, and it seems the reliability of these cars decrease rapidly the more power you produce. so any friendly advice and tech would be appreceiated!!!

thanks terbocars

there is a lot of info in this site....just search some key words and take about 5 hours to read...unless it's the look of the prelude you like i would take one of the prelude motors and put it in a hatch

I'm not sure of your particulars, but if you are looking for horsepower and speed, the h23 isnt going to be a great option. I can't say I know the aftermarket for the h23, but I can't imagine it is that spectacular (if im wrong, please correct me).

I was a DSM guy as well (still kind of am!)..... I would equate getting a h23 to getting an NA DSM and asking how to make tons of HP.... to which (if in a DSM forum) you woule get a response like "sell it and get a turbo"

But, different strokes for different folks as they say, and thats just my 1% of $2.

I would only go with the H23 if you are going to boost. Although, the H22 bottom end would probably hold up better.
