I have a thread Going called "just a project" w/ daily updates on doing bodywork/ paint work, need input about persons owning seibon carbon fiber hood/trunk. Fitment, quality, etc. Looking to order a set, read a lot of thread, google and so on and half the time it goes off topic or goes on and on! So any input that's directly tied to Seibon hood/trunk would be nice. Also in the pic only 5th gen thread, I see alot of the same rocker molding and front lip, if you have an idea who makes a good quality set and the one that most guys r using? Thanks

I am happy with my Seibon hood, but after 10 years the sun has not been kind, I wish I had waxed it more the first few years.

Thanks man for posting, do you or anyone know of a company that makes a good set of Front oem style or mugen style Front lip and mugen side skirts, Ive been on the internet for Like hours now, lol. Not sure if I'm having bad luck coming up with something or just sorry at searching. Came across a company called sense Motorsports and passwordjdm had a front lip style, haven't checked eBay cause in the past looks like junk. Seen a lot of the same style on the picture thread of side skirts and front lips, just need know good company to get them from, any inform would be get guys!

It looks like to me and anyone who wants to agree or disagree would help. That wing west race sport kit (wwrs) looks like the style on most 5th gen prelude and has the mugen style. Only full kit I've come across is wing west website, other websites don't have full set or have poor rating on customer service.

I have both CF hood and trunk on my 4th gen, however, they're both VIS. Fitment is going to be hit or miss most of the time, as both VIS and Seibon create their hoods and trunks from molds - so not every hood/trunk is going to fit like the next. It's pretty much just a fiber glass mold with one layer of carbon fiber weave and some shitty clear coat, which I recommend having resprayed at a shop with quality clear.

Thanks man for your response, I think at this point I may hold off on getting cf trunk/hood and wwrs lip kit. I've read a lot of mix reviews, at this moment read to many forums (sometimes this works against you lol) from quality, fitment and so on and on The wwrs kit sounds like it looks good from a distance but upclose not so much. Plus over time it starts to change shape and holds water. I think I'm just going to get a front lip for now and keep my focus on my project, plus save the money and get going on my
engine build. If I change my mind all I got to do is unbolt the hood/trunk, not like a big
deal. Thanks

Fwiw, I knew a guy with a true Greddy kit on his 5th gen, and it was dope! I am not one to like lips or body kits but his car looked perfect, gold/ black in Texas.

I did the carbon body parts with my integra and while it looks cool, is it really worth it? im doing fenders and hood on my bb6 but really only because the current ones are ruined so why not. but its all about how you want your car to look

I don't know why Honda usdm didn't put a front lip on the prelude from factory but when I look at group pictures of preludes the ones with a type s or basic lip look in place, but the preludes sitting nexts to the other ones look like they're missing something. At this point I dont work on my car at all this three day weekend but did look on the internet for hours, at lip kits, front lips only, and cf hood/trunk, after all that I know I'm not doing the cf hood/trunk. (save money for engine build) Not doing lip kit, and if I Could fine a company that makes a good front type s lip or nice basic lip I'll get it or someone could
tell me from first hand experience with fitment and etc, etc Thanks
