we have almost the same exact car. I love this thread. One thing I notice, get rid of the rusty bolts on your radiator support. everything else looks pretty clean .

i don't know why they call that a sex blocker. the roofs in these cars are so low you have to be 4ft to have sex in them in the back seat. ive had sex in mine once and it felt like i was in a smart car.
nice project though dude. i have a vogue silver sr myself

They call it a sex-blocker cause you cant lie across the backseats with that
storage divide in place, but yeah even without it its too cramped, Try lying on
the bonnet . BTW i like the one Integra_101 has too. OP i am looking forward
to your next installment.

its winter time here now. the next thing I do will be gold zinc plated cross drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic brake pads. just basic maintenance before the snow comes. its just a bonus I got gold rotors for the price of regular rotors. Ill have updates in 2 weeks or so.
Then the next thing I do over the winter will be finding new rims, or refinishing my kosei k1 reps.

Just finished installing my brakes and rotors. I discovered that my rear calipers were not working at all. So I had to un seize them. Also, there were no sliders. good thing I had some extra.

hit a wall for a bit. tomorrow when i get it on my friends hoist, i will see what the problem is.
Let my car warm up for about 10 min on the driceway. when i get back home, i notice a substantial amount of oil. checked the dip stick, and the reading was below both dots. ill monitor the oil level until i get this fixed. I hate to say it but its too damn cold for me to fix this in my garage. i have to pay the 4 hours labour. fml lol
prepared. and got the seals that would allow that much oil to leak. lets gggooo

Re: My H22 92 Prelude Build *Lots of pics*
So yesterday I fixed my horrid power steering fluid leak. sorry no pics because I was so annoyed and pissed lol. trial and error kind of day.
All 4 lines off the rack were rotted. So I replaced them with copper lines and the proper AN fittings so nothing gets rusted ever again. I was losing a hole reservoir of ps fluid a day, prior to the fix. I first looped the lines to delete the power steering, then I decided to just replace the lines because I don't want hassle from the MTO if ever.
While I had the car up, I noticed this
So I drove home with it like this, then went to the junk yard just before they closed and picked another one up and put it on this morning. Every time I have a little extra money to have some fun with the car, something breaks. And I don't like leaving broken things, so I fix it.
hopefully, if nothing else breaks, whats next is a skunk 2 intake mani and throttle body.
some people think this is a build thread. its more of a how to maintain your honda so it lasts you another 20years thread. lol
This is the old broken one, and the new used one i picked up for temp use until I get my progress bar, or find one lol
For now, I got ES mounts and end link bushings and new end links.

Re: My H22 92 Prelude Build *Lots of pics*
This is a late update. So ignore the timeline. its copy and pasted from a site i frequent on
Recently got some sr-v heated leathers and switches. Didnt wire up the heaters yet, i need to figure it out. I traded a strut bar, AEM lightweight alt pully and my cloth seats. aside from the couple of rips, and marks(that can come off in the rear) im happy.
not my sunglasses. shutup hahaha
I still have the rear cloths though. 96 vtec stripe ones. if anyone wants.[
]its been bugging me for a long time that my side skirts were painted silver
then it even bothered me more when the paint started to chip off. So I got new ones
Then recently my flex pipe on my down pipe separated and is now just all ****ed up. I decided to look for a new header system. But came across a deal I couldn't pass. apexi and obx parts with a highflow cat
Thought this would be easier than it actually was. Good thing my friend let me use his shop and work on my car my own.
I need an alignment now, which I will get tomorrow. She rides way better now. A little harsh on the bumps though but when im on the highway its like im driving on a cloud
just collecting parts until spring is here.
picked these up in a trade for my old AEM intake and trunk strut tower bar.
1.1 inch drop in the front. 1.6 inch drop in the back. Not sure if i should get 17s though.
Not much of an update. Just been collecting parts. Going to do everything just in time for spring.
Honda apprentice has its perks. I get parts at cost.
Dizzy cap and rotor+screw
LCA bolts
ring shield for the knuckle(they tend to get rusty and lose)
Also I got a AEM alternator pulley with bigger belt to accommodate it. Now I just need to search for the power steering pulley to match it. Then ill be getting a balanced lightweight crank pulley

That's a good deal for that car, someone must have been hurting for that money. I did how ever notice you are using a fram filter. They are poorly engineered and the filter material basically resembles cardboard. Can't go wrong with a purolator or wix (napa gold) oil filter.
Car looks much better now

definitely a steal for only a grand. Those H22As are strong. About 220 horse stock and can handle a 75shot all day.
