What can I do to fix it. when it rains water doesn’t get in. I have to push it up manually.

Remove the door panel and adjust the rails.

And WTF is that thing circled?

With that big hole on the left you should be able to see the window rail, see if anything is dismounted/out of place.

i think i found the problem.

i think this nut is an adjuster. btw it was already loose before i started to messing with it. i tried to tighten it up pulling it left and right but it makes it worst. i think i have to leave the nut centered and adjust it by tightening or loosening the nut. i haven't fixed the problem yet. i'll mess with it later. i wasted my time taking off the door panel.

You might have to loosen the bottom nut on that rail as well. Then roll the windows all the way up, then tighten the two nuts to hold the rail in place.

And you can spray some silicone spray into the rails to help the window move easier.

white litium grease is not a good idea fyi.

i'm thinking about putting small amounts of brake grease into the rubber moldings so the windows go up easier. will the grease mess up the rubber moldings where the windows sit.

i think you might be looking past your actual problem. your window regulator might be going out, or theres a hinge thats seizing up. trust me i bought my prelude from a guy that drove back and forth from syracuse to rochester on the thruway everday. covered in rust doesnt begin to describe it (and its an 01). had to fix the lock on the passenger side because one of the pivots for the linkage was seized up with rust.

my drivers side window wasnt going up a couple weeks ago. i rolled the window down and took a look. it was actually forcing itself over the molding that helps seal it up on the vertical edge near the door handle. i had to force it over it, and now i have to make sure that the piece of molding is in front of the window or i get a nice 1/2 inch gap.

i have a window module hooked up to my lude.

it allows you to roll your windows down with your aux button or it rolls them up when you lock you car. maybe this is affecting it.

idk. my car isn't even that old. i'm def not in the mood of buying new parts.

my windows seem to go up and down slow. it can be compared to my 97 accord.

my friends windows go up and down really fast but he has a 07 accord coupe

i put some grease into both tracks and it made it worse. the window had a hard time going down. so i just cleaned it out of the big track and left the grease in the small one near the mirror.
