Default Lightweight flywheel good for turbo h22?

I used to have an Fidanza lightweight 8lb flywheel on my old Accord F22. Worked great but the only thing is that the rpms dropped way too quick for my liking. It made the shifting a little rough because you start the next gear at a lower rpm compared to a stock flywheel. Im assuming that since the h22 has closer gear ratios this wouldnt be as much of a problem. Maybe it would be better to go a little bit heavier this time? What do guys think?

Think about it. 3k, shift->drop to 2k, next gear puts you at 2.5k. If you want it to drop slower, get a 12lb

Deff wouldnt go less than 12lb if you drag at all.

Ive been running a 8lbs fidanza and ive never had problems with the RPMs dropping to fast. During normal and racing conditions. I just dont see how you couldnt shift faster than the RPMS drop? Hell, i could barely tell a difference in the RPMs going from the stock flywheel to the fidanza?

i can sort of tell...my third gear is ****...my rpm drops to about 5500 or a little lower sometimes...when its at 5500 its okay..but if any lower..it eats ****...i have an 8lb ACT Flywheel with 6 puck no sprung...wat rpm should be reasonable for peak power when shifted on a stock lude?

Pricey...but I say JUN flywheel.

Somewhere around 11-13 pounds I believe. (don't vouch on that)

For normal driving it drops fast and it makes changing gears a little rough at times. When racing at the drag strip it doesnt matter all that much because I shift a lot quicker. Just curious what you guys thought about this.

If you are going to boost it I would go with the 8lb. I havnt drivin it yet but I have an 8lb comp flywheel with my twin disc. I think the faster revs are worth the faster dropping revs, especially when you are boosted.

Good point. So you think that NA should use heavier flywheels and turbos use lighter ones for quicker response?
